Neem

What is Neem
Plants are made up of thousands of chemicals, and Neem is no different in this respect. However, scientists are particularly interested in one family of chemicals particular to Neem, and responsible for its' amazing properties.
These are the 'tetranortriperpenoids' or more specifically 'liminoids' - similar to steroids.
About 40 of these chemicals act together, producing a 'synergistic' or 'enhanced' affect.
The most active and well studied of these is 'Azadirachtin'.

Basil


What is Basil
Basil is a fragrant herb with strong ties to both Italian and Indian cooking. Basil varieties range from teeny fairy basil to large garden varieties with leaves large enough to use as wraps in cooking. Basil has many different colors. You can grow plants that are a deep purple, blue or a myriad of greens. There are also many different flavors of basil; sweet, spicy, lemon and even licorice can be found.

Cilantro is featured in dishes cooked everywhere almost in all cusines. The fresh leafs are often sprinkled over the tops of dishes, and the root is used in Thailand to give that distinctly powerful flavor to local dishes. You may already know that cilantro is one of the main ingredients in the salsa at your favorite Mexican restaurant.
Cilantro, also known as coriander, Chinese Parsley, has a distinct aroma due to its concentrated essential oils. This captivating aroma may have been responsible for humans around the world intuitively incorporating cilantro into their diets for health reasons that modern science is just beginning to understand.
